Terms and appointment conditions of Meduza Ink in Gelsenkirchen
These are the rules for your appointment at Meduza Ink: design, preparation, aftercare and touch-ups. You can find a short overview under tattoo prices and process.

General terms and conditions
Design
The design can be viewed no earlier than 3 days before the appointment. If you would like any changes, they will be taken into account. If the changes exceed the agreed price range, an additional charge may be made on top of the agreed price. In this case, the customer will be informed before the appointment.
Preparation
Please only come to your tattoo appointment well rested, sober and healthy. You should eat a proper meal before the appointment. For at least one day beforehand, you should not consume any alcohol, caffeinated drinks, drugs or blood-thinning medication. For one week before your appointment, you should not use a sunbed or fake tan, and you should also avoid direct sunbathing because of the risk of sunburn. In addition, you must not take cortisone or antibiotics. If you have been vaccinated, you may not be tattooed for 2 weeks.
Clothing
No liability is accepted if your clothing or shoes come into contact with tattoo ink, disinfectant or blood. It is recommended that you come to the appointment in old or black clothing.
Consent form
Every customer must sign a tattoo consent form before being tattooed and undertakes to ensure that the information provided is correct.
Cover-up
In the case of a cover-up, no guarantee is given that the old tattoo will be 100% invisible after tattooing and after healing.
Aftercare
At the end of the tattoo appointment, the customer will be given aftercare instructions verbally or in writing. To ensure that the tattoo heals well, you are asked to follow the aftercare instructions. No liability is accepted in the event of non-compliance and any resulting healing complications.
Touch-ups
Should it be necessary to touch up the tattoo, this is possible no earlier than 4 weeks and no later than 4 months afterwards. The first touch-up is free of charge and included in the price; after the 4-month period, however, it is subject to a charge.
Other
- Due to copyright, it is not permitted to reuse wanna-dos or individually created designs or to have them tattooed by another tattoo artist.
- Persons under 18 years of age will not be tattooed.
- Companions are not permitted to enter the tattoo area.
- No liability whatsoever is accepted for the orthographic correctness of a tattoo, regardless of the language. So please check that the desired lettering or date is correctly spelled or dated.
- No liability is accepted for the cloakroom.
Piercing under 18: Please bring the consent form signed by your parents or legal guardians to the appointment.
